Our Spring 2026 Has Arrived!

The Core at Corby Cube has launched their Spring season brochure and it offers a fantastic selection of events with something for all ages and tastes.

Music lovers have plenty to keep them entertained this Spring. Tameka Jackson launches the season with Reflections, a celebration of the timeless classics of Diana Ross; Choose George starring Steve Mitchell will amaze fans with a perfectly accurate tribute to George Michael; Lee Brady will rock the stage with Heaven Can Wait, a rollercoaster ride through Meatloaf’s greatest hits; and Harry Cambridge, famed for his Stars In Their Eyes performance, brings his high-energy show Luther to Corby bringing the iconic hits of Luther Vandross to life.

The music doesn’t end there, as The Jerseys celebrate the timeless music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons; The Marquee Club All Star Band, with its powerhouse lineup, provides a mix of classic rock, soul and blues; Beautiful Trauma recreates the energy and hits of a P!nk concert on The Core’s stage; and Sound of the Lioness, with its eight-piece band, takes audiences on a journey through the career of Amy Winehouse. Other musical highlights include The Radiohead Project, The Simon & Garfunkel Story, Taylor Swift Tribute, Coldplace and more!

This St Patrick’s Day, The Core will be transformed into The Irish House Party, a show which features no gimmicks or cliches, just incredibly talented musicians and dancers who bring the sound and fun of Ireland to Corby in an intimate and homely setting.

For comedy fans looking for an evening of laughter, Jimmy Tarbuck OBE, one of the most popular household names from the golden era of stand-up, is back on the road and bringing his hugely entertaining mix of anecdotes and jokes to Corby; and Kane Brown performs his brand-new, purely unscripted show Crowd Work King that isn’t to be missed! Plus, The Core’s monthly comedy night Screaming Blue Murder returns, starring up-and-coming comedians from the touring circuit.

Following the success of last year’s Do I Love You?the John Godber Company return with Teechers, a comedy masterpiece reset for our post-Covid times that showcases the hard-hitting account of life at Whitehall Academy. The drama continues with the critically acclaimed Our Little Hour; telling the inspirational story of Walter Tull who rose to prominence as the first black footballer to play at the highest level before becoming the first man of his heritage to be commissioned as an Officer in the British Army; and Please Do Not Touch, Casey Bailey’s play that asks important questions about colonial legacy and contested heritage, whilst shining the light on the criminal justice system.

Strictly Come Dancing fans who are missing their Saturday nights full of dance are in luck, as Strictly legend and Argentine Tango king Vincent Simone returns to The Core with Tango Passions, a sexy, steamy, passionate night of dance not to be missed.

Sports fans can look forward to two nights of spoken word, from cricketing legend Jonathan “Aggers” Agnew, who blends live conversation, archive footage and plenty of surprises in a show that hits it for six; and Paul Merson, best known for his playing days and punditry, who combines his quick wit, charisma and brutally honest storytelling into a must-see event for all football fans.

The Core’s youngest audiences have plenty to look forward to, with the “roar-some” Dinosaur Adventure Live immersing audiences in the enthralling and realistic world of Dinosaurs; Exciting Science which brings a warning of extreme fun, as its fun and fact-filled experiments amaze and astound audiences; and David Walliams’ number one bestselling book There’s A Snake In My School is brought to life on stage in a spectacularly funny new musical.

For those looking for something a bit different, James Phelan’s The Man Who Was Magic offers a night of wonder from the world-renowned, award-winning magician who once jammed the BBC switchboard after correctly predicting the lottery; and BBC TV’s Antiques Roadshow expert Mark Smith visits Corby to delve into the origins of the Victoria Cross, plus also offering a limited number of VIP tickets which include an exclusive valuation of family medals.

The Core is delighted to welcome a wide range of local groups to the venue, including Corby Amateur Theatrical Society with their latest production Rapunzel, Weldon Amateur Theatre School with hit musicals Annie Jr and 9 to 5 The Musical, Glendon Gang Show sees Corby and Kettering’s Scouts and Girl Guides return to the stage, and Rutland Musical Theatre perform Sister Act The Musical.

The Core’s Get Involved programme also continues to offer high quality creative experiences for all ages and across different art forms. The programme includes weekly sessions offering the opportunity of working with experienced artists to gain more knowledge, skills and understanding of an art form, and an education programme that enables schools to enrich a creative curriculum, plus much more.

Celebrating the talent of the young people taking part in its Get Involved programme, Sparks present a magical play inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest, Core Create host a Murder Mystery Evening, and Project M participants fill the stage with music.
