Earth Music: An Orchestral Concert Beneath GAIA
As part of our GAIA celebrations, OneOrchestra will perform two cinematic concerts , beneath Luke Jerram’s breathtaking suspended Earth installation, GAIA.
OneOrchestra will be presenting Earth Music, featuring a rich, atmospheric program of
reimagined music by composers such as Hans Zimmer, Max Richter, and Coldplay,
performed by a 6-piece ensemble of strings, woodwinds, and piano. The program reflects
on themes of nature, universe and connection, made even more poignant by the presence
of Jerram’s luminous seven-metre Earth installation suspended above the audience.
OneOrchestra has collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Freya Ridings and Peter
Sandberg, and has performed in renowned venues including the Royal Albert Hall. Michael
Amadi’s compositions have been performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and
featured in Vogue. He has even performed for Chris Martin himself.
While the full program remains under wraps, audiences can expect a stirring finale: a
surprise tribute that brings the evening to an emotional close.
This performance is not just a concert: it is a complete sensory experience, where the
music, setting and atmosphere come together to create something truly special.
Seating information: This performance will take place directly underneath GAIA, with the audience sitting around them. All seating is unreserved, however you can choose one of three locations.
